CMC Time!

It is CMC time again and we all know the drill!

1. New booklets are at the receptionist desk outside of Hellena's office

2. Booklets have the paper form and you can also make your donation online

3. Everyone is encouraged to donate something…..any amount to their favorite charity

4. Last day to pledge is October 31st. Look inside your booklet for other important dates

October Door Count

This is to let you know that the October Door Count is scheduled to begin this Sunday, October 16^th, and run through Saturday, October 22^nd.

This count will measure the following:

Busiest times of day at your library –

Please be sure to count statistics at Welcome Desk

How library materials are being used – Daily in-house materials use counts the number of non-electronic items being used in the library.

At Reference Desk, please be sure to record hash marks for “Books Shelved” and “Items Retrieved from Archives."

Restored Classroom/ Closing Announcements

All,

Currently we do not have any audio for the restored classroom and closing announcements. The IT department is aware and working on fixing the problem.

A couple of things to remember:

1. Do not start the restored classroom video

2. Staff at the service points please make sure to inform guests when we are about to close (15 minutes)

Points to remember from the email sent by Vince:

1. We cannot offer or book guided tours of the building

2. Groups are still welcome to do a self-guided tour

3. Until the staffing situation has been adjusted, please keep gift shop closed

4. Scheduling wise we all need to be more flexible and help out where needed
